Ella’s Forest is a family-run organic wild blueberry operation located on 34 acres of woodland in Fort Augustus, Prince Edward Island. The farm began over a decade ago when founders discovered a thriving stand of wild blueberry plants and committed themselves to managing and harvesting them naturally, without chemicals or conventional farming methods. The team focuses on sustainable stewardship of the wild blueberry patches, combining hands-on labour with observational learning and a deep respect for the land. Their approach celebrates the unique flavour, nutrient density, and seasonal rhythm of wild blueberries, which are harvested each late summer and transformed into a range of certified organic products enjoyed locally, nationally, and internationally. True to their roots, Ella’s Forest remains a small-scale, authentic, and community-oriented producer dedicated to the health and heritage of wild blueberries on PEI.
