Yonder Hill Farm is a small-scale family farm and homestead located on Nova Scotia’s beautiful South Shore, established in 2012.  Owners Chris & Garrett have been commercially producing a wide variety of vegetable, grain, flower, & herb seeds since 2009, and stewarding much of their collection since the early 2000s.  Their catalogue of over 200 varieties includes many rare heirloom/heritage varieties & even some farm-bred originals!  Believing that locally produced & maintained seed is an important way to support food security & sustainability, Yonder Hill sells only what they have carefully grown themselves, advancing local adaptation & high quality standards.  Their seeds are ecologically grown following organic practices, and are spray-free, non-GMO, open-pollinated, & untreated.  Purchase from them directly online (including a selection of bulk seed packets); through Annapolis Seeds; at Seedy Saturday events & Farmers' Markets; and from their multiple retail seed rack locations on the South Shore, in HRM, & in the Valley.
