The Prince Edward Island Seed Alliance, established in 2015, is a network of small-scale farmers committed to growing out Island adapted, open-pollinated seeds for our community of PEI farmers and gardeners. Alliance seed growers follow production guidelines to safeguard against cross-pollination, grow large volumes of each variety selecting only from the best plants, and maintain a minimum germination rate of 85%. Our seeds can be purchased at the Charlottetown and Summerside Farmers’ Markets, at the Voluntary Resource Center (Prince St., Charlottetown), or from our re-sellers.
