Hope Seeds is a small, farmer-owned seed company with a dedication to local and sustainable agriculture since 1993. Hope Seeds offers a wide range of vegetable, herb, and flower seeds, about 80% of which are grown either on their own farm - Sacred Garden Farm, Clementsport, NS - or other small farms in Atlantic Canada which are certified organic or spray free. About 20% of their seed varieties are imported, sourced from larger Canadian suppliers. Hope Seeds maintains many rare and heritage selections and are honoured to keep these seeds and stories alive, taking seed stewardship very seriously. Quality assurance includes testing for seed-borne disease and purity, and Hope Seeds' germination standards often exceed federal requirements. Seeds can be purchased online, at Seedy Saturday events, or any retail outlet that participates in Hope Seeds' rack program.
