annual Beginner Farmer Symposium
on August 20th, 2012!
Time: 8:30-5:30pm
Location: Tweedie Hall, Wallace McCain Student Centre, Mount
Allison University, 62 York St., Sackville, NB.
Cost: $30/$35 (with Mixer)
For Students/Farm Apprentices/ACORN Members: $20/$25(with Mixer)
This event will celebrate the next generation of
organic farmers featuring diverse and inspirational workshops,
discussions and trade show! Plus many other activities as well,
including Yoga for Farmers, Small-Tools Show & Tell, Seed Swap,
Beginner Farmer Video/Photo booth (share your story!) and more! Don't
this miss prime opportunity to connect with other farmers and
farming-dreamers and support the future sustainability of a local
organic food supply!
Afterwards, join us for the Beginner
Farmer Mixer from 6-9pm!
Wrap up this busy day with a wonderful
evening social featuring delicious local organic food, drinks and live
music!
