Pollinating the Seed Movement: Community Seed Organizers’ Symposium

Please join us for this one-of-a-kind event in support of community seed organizers!  This event will feature unique presentations designed to deliver solid tips and strategies, inspire great ideas, and start thoughtful discussions about how to make community seed projects great!

1ST THING - Tour of Seeding Ideas Seed Library - the first in Canada to be housed within an academic library!

A.M. DISCUSSION ON “SEEDS”: Getting them, growing them, and tracking them in the context of community seed projects.

P.M. DISCUSSION ON “COMMUNITY”: How community seed projects can work partnerships, engage volunteers, and use social media.

RESOURCE SHOWCASE: Starting with The Community Seed Network, we'll host a participant-led showcase of books, blogs, online tools, websites, and other resources that can help make your project great!

PLUS: A seed sale, a delicious lunch, and tons of networking time!

Please note that ACORN will provide a van from Sackville, NB, as well as car pooling support to make it easier for NB and PEI participants to attend. If you are traveling from the island, we are pleased to provide reimbursement for the Confederation Bridge toll - please keep your receipts and present them at registration.
Please register online (see top right), and contact Steph Hughes at with inquiries.
