Cultivating Climate Resilience: Risks and Adaptation

Have you been thinking about how climate change could impact your farm? Wondering what you can do about it?

The challenging effects of climate change are already being felt by farmers across our region. We are experiencing changing and less predictable growing conditions, along with strong storms and floods that put farmland and infrastructure at risk of damage.

Join ACORN and Sweet Soil Organic Farm for a farmer-to-farmer workshop where you will have the opportunity to discuss with fellow farmers what to expect as the climate changes and how you can make your farm more resilient.

This event will include:
- A farm tour from our host, Sarah Smith, which will highlight the climate challenges she has faced on her farm
- A short presentation and facilitated discussion on the impacts of climate change and strategies for making farms more resilient

This workshop is free! Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP so we know how much to prepare.
